There and Back again
I have returned from my quite short walking trip. Me and david did about 100 Km. At night we stayed in little spanish towns about the size of... I dunno... somthing small. Many of the towns were very old; filled with castles and cathedrals and tiny winding streets. The sun would beat down on the castillian plain with intensity, and a heavy backpack also added to the fatigue. However, it was well worth it and I would have continued if I could have. In fact I was. We were going to do another 100 K, but I really wanted to spend a couple days in the Santo Domingo de Silos monastery. So the mexican and I decided that he should keep walking (it turned out that once he had gotten into the walk, he liked it) and meet me in madrid in 4 or 5 days.
