Not much

Yeah. I know.... midterms.... I havent been updating as nicely as I should be. Well, here is a picture from my MK retreat a couple of weeks back. Me, Dave (a guy on my floor, with whom I have really hit it off. MK in Costa Rica), Steve (MK in Panama), and David (mexican, mk in Japan). We had fun together. It was a little click'ish, but hey, since when has that stopped me?



David is coming to spain this summer with me. Yes, you heard me right. He IS coming, after much much indecisiveness. We will be hiking around the country, probably starting in the north and working our way down south through Castilla y Leon, until we reach Madrid. At least that is the plan. We will be working in Madrid for the month of August. He is a great guy, and I think everyone in spain will really like him. Here a couple of picures of him, yes ladies, he IS single (but highly stalked by Gordon ladies).







The downside of the summer is that I will not be accompanying the choir on Tour. We were going to go to europe. It is a shame, because it would have been fun. I had a bad vibe about the whole thing though, and I follow those things. Oh, the fact that I needed 1800 dollars to do it also was an influence.... at least I get to tour with them over spring break. It isn't europe, but it is still a tour. On the other hand... I have already paid 1000 dollars for the summer trip, and I will get that back... it never hurt to get 1000 dollars back all at once. It will go towards my summer trip. Good times.

Winter is almost here. You can never tell for sure at this time of the year. One day it is warm, the next it is cold. But for the past couple of weeks, the Fall has been wrestling, and losing, to Winter. The mornings start out very cold, and slowly the day starts to warm a bit as the sun comes out. Snowmelt demands movement

The sun is out again today. The snow has all but melted except for in the abandoned lots where they piled it up several stories high; but even those piles are melting, leaving behind all of the grime that was plowed up with the snow and rivulets of water running towards the nearest gutter. The fact that the water reaches the drain is quite a feat. Just weeks ago it would have frozen halfway across the sidewalk... and lain in waiting for an unsuspecting jogger. But, as I said before, the sun is out now, the temperatures are up, and the ice is nowhere to be seen. I am running out of excuses to avoid jogging, if you will permit the pun. I am in some of the worse shape of my life and I don't particularly feel good about it. Blogs

I remember when I started blogging. I think I was one of the first people I know to start blogging. Dont get me wrong, it was a cultural phenomenon back 4 years ago when I began, but none of my friends really did it. And then all of a sudden a bunch of us did. We all kept it up for a while, some came and went, but I had a pretty vibrant blogging community. Tonight I found myself checking my friends blogs and finding only abandoned websites for the most part. It kind of kills a lot of the fun of blogging for me.
